Embergher Museum

Here I have included the booklet about the

Embergher – Cerrone’ Museum della Liuteria

a publication written by the former director of the Museum Dr. Marco Chiappini, to underline the importance of the luthiers of the town of Arpino in the province of Frosinone, Italy.

Because the museum is closed since a few years I thought it would be good to include this publication here and have it available to all interested.

The city of Arpino

The booklet publication above of the

Embergher – Cerrone’ Museum della Liuteria

is published here with the kind permission of the former director of the Museum Dr. Marco Chiappini.

L-R: Mr. R. Rea, Alex Timmerman and Dr. Marco Chiappini, former Dir. of the ” Embergher – Cerrone” Museum in Arpino, IT.

Another important publication is the book ‘IL MUSEO DELLA LIUTERIA / “EMBERGHER – CERRONE” DI ARPINO’ written by the former director of the Museum, Dr. Marco Chiappini. The book describes, with illustrations, among other things, the history of the construction of musical instruments, the builders involved, Luigi Embergher and Domenico Cerrone and the closest studio employees, as well as almost the entire inventory of the museum. A really must have!
